Carving pumpkins is a tradition in North America. Households across the continent prepare for Halloween by carving ghoulish into hollowed pumpkins and setting these outside of their homes. A lit candle burns within each, alighting the streets with a wonderful orange glow
Pumpkin inferno brings this tradition to a whole new level. Set in historic, Upper Canada Village a town stuck in time, Pumpkin Inferno displays 7000 pumpkins in one place. Lit up and beautiful this is the most creative use of a pumpkin imaginable. Pumpkin Inferno alights this wonderful historic town and open air museum.
While you will be able to explore the town of Upper Canada Village and the incredible pumpkin displays, the village is only operated as an open-air-museum during the summer; the houses and exhibits will be closed. The pumpkin inferno event allows visitors to see the village decorated, and beautiful and unique.
Pumpkinferno has earned "BEST NEW EVENT IN ONTARIO" designation by Festival and Events Ontario, "TOURISM EVENT OF THE YEAR" by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario and "NEW COMPANY OF THE YEAR" by Ottawa Tourism.
