1 PM Bus departs from Carleton University. Relax and enjoy the ride to Niagara Falls.
8:00 PM Arrive to our hotel. Check in and get ready to discover Niagara Falls.
9:00 PM We will leave our hotel and head to Clifton Hill, one of the funnest parts of town. Here entertainment and restaurant options galore. Enjoy the night and what the city has to offer.
7- 9 AM Breakfast time! There are many options nearby where you can have breakfast. We recommend you pay a visit to 'Al Macs' Buffet, an all-you-can-eat breakfast place not too far away.
9.30 AM Board the bus and let's go for a forest walk by the falls. Niagara Glen Nature Reserve is a nature reserve located near the Niagara Whirlpool along the Canadian side of the Niagara Gorge. It is one of the best preserved remaining example of Southern Ontario's original Carolinian forest.
While in this area you will also be able to enjoy a visit to botanical gardens as well as the butterfly conservatory.
12:30 Board the bus and let's get back into town. We will have lunch and get ready for the next adventure.
2:30 PM Board the bus once again and let's head to Palatine Hills Estate winery. This winery offers one of the area's oldest vineyards nestled among the historic hills of beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have coordinated a private event where you will be able to learn about wine in the Niagara region and do a tasting of their delicious ice wine.
4:30 PM Let's get back to town or hotel, as you prefer and enjoy some free time.
7:30 PM Meet up for dinner (Optional)
10 PM Let's go party! (Optional, you most be of legal drinking age)
7- 9 AM Breakfast time and get ready to check out.
10 AM Check out of the Hotel and bring your bags to the bus.
For today we recommend you get tickets to the Hornblower cruise and enjoy a tour that will take you as close as humanly possible to the falls; feeling the power of millions of gallons of water falling 165 feet down to the falls' basin.
You can also purchase tickets for the Journey Behind the Falls. This is an attraction located in the Table Rock Centre beside the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. You’ll first need to descend 125 feet and explore 130-year-old tunnels through the bedrock, but you’ll feel the thunderous vibration of the Horseshoe Falls long before you see them. The observation deck at the foot of this 13-storey-tall wonder will leave you breathless (and maybe a little bit wet), but don’t forget the viewing portals cut straight through the rock, offering a once-in-a-lifetime view of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down in front of you.
3 PM Let's get back to the hotel and start our return to Ottawa. We will make a stop along the way for food.
10 PM Arrive to Carleton University.
