Second largest French-speaking city in the WORLD
Parlez-vous Francais? Now is your chance to practice!
Today we bring you one of our favorite Canadian cities. A place filled with energy, good vibes and ever interesting festivals, art displays, architecture and FUN.
I'm always struck by the unbridled creativity of this city. You see it in the magnificent inventions being stirred up in restaurant kitchens, in the barroom and on stage, and you even see it walking down the street with incredible urban art lurking in unexpected places. The dual French-English mix adds dynamism to the city as does its unique mash-up of European and North American culture.

Our itinerary, day by day
Leave Ottawa in the morning, relax and enjoy the ride to Montreal. We will start visiting the city at its highest point: Mont Royal. From this natural observatory, perched at the top of the Mountain that lends its name to the city we will admire this city-island (Yes, Montreal is actually one big island in the St Lawrence river).
Then we will head downtown and explore the old town with a Guided Group Walk. Check out Place d’Armes, Place Royale, and Place Jacques-Cartier. Visit the beautiful City Hall, Notre-Dame Basilica, and the bustling streets of Montreal's thriving metropolis.
Montreal's night scene is just fantastic with just about everything you may want. Dance? Theater? Fireworks? You name it!
Today you can enjoy many options: are you a foodie? let's hit the magnificent food markets! do you like animals? The Biodome might be your destination. Plants? Flowers? Explore the botanical gardens.
Want some active tourisms? Grab a bixi and let's hit the beautiful bike paths surrounding the river and the canal.
We depart for Ottawa around 4 PM.
What our customers say about us:
Round Tours is an amazing company. I have taken their trips skiing, to Montreal, and soon to Toronto. Every time I travel with Round Tours I feel valued and cared for. Carlos and Charlotte seem passionate about what they do, and they truly care that you are having a good time. When visiting Montreal my friend and I were thinking of visiting a museum, but we did not have wifi to check the museums in the area. Charlotte was very kind by personally searching for the best museums and directing us how to get there. This is just one of many examples of how Carlos and Charlotte demonstrate how much they care for you.
The sizing of the tours with Round Tours is absolutely perfect. For the most part all of our groups have been around 50 people, but many times it was less than 50 people. This means that you are able to get a personalized tour of each city. The structure of the tours are good for people who like to do their own thing and for people who want to stay in a group. By providing a loose itinerary with local tour guides, you can truly make the experience unique to your liking. I highly recommend Round Tours to anyone thinking of traveling outside of Ottawa. It is especially good for international students, because the quality of the trips are amazing and the trips are priced nicely. Round Tours is an amazing company with a truly nice and caring staff.
