Our itinerary, day by day
Depart Ottawa early in the morning and get ready for the trip of a lifetime! After a couple of hours we will be crossing the American border. Enjoy the scenery of New York State as we roll down the american highways. Our first stop will be Syracuse where we will spend a couple of hours, have lunch and visit their pretty downtown core.
Afterwards we continue our journey to the city of Baltimore (also known as The Charm City) in the state of Maryland. Baltimore is the birth place of the American Anthem and it hosts the last civil war vessel afloat in the country. Charm city also has a long list of famous residents. Among them are Michael Phelps, Edgar Allan Poe and David Abercrombie. Our hotel is located in the heart of downtown, a mere 2 blocks away from Baltimore's Inner Harbor, one of the city's top destinations and it comes with hot breakfast buffet included.
After a good and hearty breakfast we will head to Washington DC.
Shortly after arriving to the city we will go on an orientation walk of the Capital of the USA. You will be able to see: The National Mall, The While House, Capitol of USA, Washington Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and so much more. After dinner we will board the bus and come back to Baltimore where we will spend the night.
We will depart our hotel early in the morning, right after breakfast and head to Philadelphia.
Phili has lots to offer. We will do an orientation walk and take you to see the most-see landmarks of this wonderful city: Independence Hall, Betsy Ross house (birthplace of the American flag), Elsfreth's Alley, the president's house, museum of American Revolution, Carpenter's Hall, Declaration Hall and so much more.
Our Philadelphia hotel also comes with breakfast included. We will check out in the morning and head to New York City!
We will start our NY tour by doing a group walk in mid-town Manhattan: There is lots to see: Times square, Empire State building, flat iron building, iconic Chrysler building, Madam Tussauds museum, Rockefeller centre, 5th avenue, Grenwich Village and so much more.
We will leave you lots of free time to walk around and discover on your own.
A shuttle is provided in the evening to go back to the hotel.
Board the bus in the morning and let's go to Brooklyn! We will start our walk at the Brooklyn Promenade (beautiful views of Manhattan are certain!)
We will then cross the famous Brooklyn Bridge and head to Manhattan's lower town. Here you will be able to see: Wall Street, NY Exchange Centre, the charging Bull, Trinity Church, Pier 17, Battery Park, 9/11 memorial and World Trade Centre, Chinatown, little Italy and much more. Again you will have free time to explore and do your own thing.
A shuttle is provided in the evening to go back to the hotel.
Today is our last day. We will check out of the hotel in the morning, put our bags in the bus and head to Upper Town Manhattan. You will discover Central Park and surrounding areas. After lunch we will say goodbye to America and start our return to Ottawa. We will make several stops along the way for food and to stretch our legs.

What our customers say about us:
Round Tours is an amazing company. I have taken their trips skiing, to Montreal, and soon to Toronto. Every time I travel with Round Tours I feel valued and cared for. Carlos and Charlotte seem passionate about what they do, and they truly care that you are having a good time. When visiting Montreal my friend and I were thinking of visiting a museum, but we did not have wifi to check the museums in the area. Charlotte was very kind by personally searching for the best museums and directing us how to get there. This is just one of many examples of how Carlos and Charlotte demonstrate how much they care for you.
The sizing of the tours with Round Tours is absolutely perfect. For the most part all of our groups have been around 50 people, but many times it was less than 50 people. This means that you are able to get a personalized tour of each city. The structure of the tours are good for people who like to do their own thing and for people who want to stay in a group. By providing a loose itinerary with local tour guides, you can truly make the experience unique to your liking. I highly recommend Round Tours to anyone thinking of traveling outside of Ottawa. It is especially good for international students, because the quality of the trips are amazing and the trips are priced nicely. Round Tours is an amazing company with a truly nice and caring staff.
